Team Dave’s 2016 season has sparked with the release of this year’s new game, STRONGHOLD. We were present at the University of Waterloo Kickoff two weeks ago with many of the other local teams, in anticipation for the new games release. With a Medieval themed game, our team has begun brainstorming ideas for robot design and chairman’s.
Our build team has been working hard over the past couple weeks (at the expense of sleep), we are proud to say our robot design has been CADed and multiple prototypes have been tested. Our administrative team has been hard at work and has completed the executive summary, moving on to writing the essay component of our Chairman’s submission.
Along with other updates, our team has been reaching out to companies in the KW area for both monetary and resource sponsorship. As well, teams from the KW Region have come together to build the new practice field in Kitchener that will be shared with all the local teams.

With only three weeks left until Bag’n Tag, the pressure is on! All in all, Team Dave is moving through build and Chairman’s at a steady pace.
