RECYCLE RUSH is a recycling-themed game played by two Alliances of three robots each. Robots score points by stacking totes on scoring platforms, capping those stacks with recycling containers, and properly disposing of pool noodles, representing litter. In keeping with the recycling theme of the game, all game pieces used are reusable or recyclable by teams in their home locations or by FIRST at the end of the season.

The Match Includes:

A 15 second autonomous period in which robots can:
– Collect, stack, and place grey totes on their scoring platforms
– Place recycling bins on top of tote stacks
– Collect additional recycling bins from the middle of the field

After autonomous, Drivers control their robots from their driver stations for the remaining 135 seconds of the match, and are able to:
– Collect, stack, and place grey totes on their scoring platforms
– Place recycling bins on top of tote stacks
– Collect additional totes from their human player stations
– Recycle litter in their recycling bins
– Place yellow totes in the middle of the field for a coopertition bonus
– Put extra litter into their landfills
