In 2021, DAVE ran a FREE Virtual Camp where students were able to participate in at-home Science Experiments, in addition to introducing participants to the world of FIRST.
When: July 26-30 starting at 6 PM in 2021
Who: For students Grade 5-9
Where: Students met on the provided Google Meet
Students were given access to our database of STEAM experiments which ranged in degree of difficulty. At the end of each night, there was a show and tell portion where kids chose to show off what they learned during the day.
Students were guided by Team DAVE members through a curriculum giving them control over their own robots within the FIRST Tech Challenge Online Simulator.
Students participated with a computer, internet connection, and a desire to learn!
