FIRST® DESTINATION DEEP SPACE, the 2019 FIRST® Robotics Competition game, includes two alliances collecting samples on Planet Primus. Unpredictable terrain and weather patterns make remote ROBOT operation essential to their mission on the planet.

Destination: Deep Space Game Animation

The match includes:

A 15 second sandstorm period in which robots can be controlled by their drivers through vision systems, or run autonomous code, and can:
– Deploy from one of 3 different levels of the HAB
– Prepare Rockets and the Cargo Ship with Hatch Panels
– Load Cargo Pods into their Rockets and Cargo Ship

After the sandstorm, Drivers control their robots from their driver stations for the remaining 135 seconds of the match, and are able to:
– Prepare Rockets and the Cargo Ship with Hatch Panels
– Load Cargo Pods into their Rockets and Cargo Ship
– Return to and climb up one of the three HAB levels
