In 2021, Team DAVE founded Level Up For A Cause, an entity within the team whose goal is to raise money for local charities. We are working to raise money for local charities within our community over hte next couple of years.
For our first fundraiser, Team DAVE had decided to run a fundraiser to raise money for KidsAbility, a local organization that empowers children and youth with special needs to realize their full potential. DAVE and KidsAbility share a common goal in that they want to empower the community youth and provide them with endless opportunities, and we believe that this fundraiser is a great chance to combine these efforts.
Our Goal
Our goal was to raise $5000 with the plan that a portion of these funds are directed towards the Firefly STEM-based camp run by KidsAbility. This camp was created by Team DAVE members. We raised $755 of our goal in 2021.

How Does It Work
The idea for the fundraiser is to have set milestones for donation, where at each milestone we would have an individual or organization complete a task or challenge. These individuals and organizations are influential with ties to the community or Canada.
